May we have a user defined default color set instead of the default white color ? Now, I have to create a default shape with default colors then clone it. For training or mobile situations, or without instrument, it can be useful to hear the notes. ![]() No sound all all ( notes cannot be played ). In addition to the global zoom, a vertical zoom should be implemented to adjust the fretboard heigth, and to display several fretboards, i.e. The note removal is global where it should be individual. And sometimes I was unable to find a good shape, for fingering purposes, so I have some note positions I cannot remove. Fortunately, most of the time you can find a suitable shape, but it’s a wasting time reviewing all differents shapes before findind the good one. You cannot delete one individual note from a shape. This app is very useful and very ergonomic but some suggestions : Thanks to Tee Pee Records we're pleased to be able to bring this collection of 'released' material to everyone.Great, but some improvements would be highly appreciated We realized our records lived in obscurity or out of print and what a shame it would be to see our contribution to it all lost in time, and not be able to share the journey with others was a hollow feeling. From writing and recording our first 7 inch in two weeks, to touring with amazing bands and people like L7, BLUEGTIP, Pleasure Forever and the FOO FIGHTERS to having the opportunity to record and play live shows with Wayne Kramer of the MC5. Definitely a crazy journey none of us will ever forget. "The evolution of the band has meant a lot to us. "We spent years writing, recording, and touring the world as Bluebird," said Sam James Velde. Composed of five musicians who each contribute a vital energy to every detail of their music, Bluebird's masterful balance of pop sensibility and sonic battery is compulsory listening. But, also the melodic hooks of vocalist Sam James Velde (who today leads Tee Pee Records band NIGHT HORSE) and the thick guitar layers paved by Barry Thomas and later recruit, Paul Figueroa, adding further glue to this bond. This friction resulted in a catalog of 4 albums and multiple EPs that boldly revitalized rock formalism.Ī guiding force to the band was the innate connections between brothers, Jim and Bryan Lee Brown (bass and drums, respectively) who played together since their elementary school days (and continue to do so today in Holloys). Bluebird was comprised of such divergent personalities that any song - from its most traditionally structured rock tune, to its freeform droning jams - seemed to be tugging in a variety of directions all at once. In the same way that BLACK SABBATH, Queens of the Stone Age and QUICKSAND deftly blend heavy guitar riffing with shimmering vocal melodies, Bluebird made catchy pop songs driven by heavy layers of guitars that could also just as easily be outtakes from SWERVEDRIVER or JANE'S ADDICTION. In today's pastiche musical culture, the Los Angeles unit's multiple personality power-psych-punk would make much more sense. Bluebird was an MC5 for the 21st century: a fierce hybrid of musical muscle and artistic exploration. While the band existed within the confines of the late-90s post-grunge esoteric art-punk underground, its virtuosic merging of anthemic riff-rock with experimental psych-punk seemed an anomaly in an era of disjointed lo-fi spatter. The discography also includes tracks from the entrancing collaborative album, Black Presence (2003), which was created in a series of freeform jams with Bluebird and members of QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, EARTHLINGS, WHITE ZOMBIE, PLEASURE FOREVER and others as well as the critically acclaimed EP High Atmosphere (1999), the band's breakout album The Two (2000, Dim Mak) and selections from various singles and compilation tracks which serve to further elucidate Bluebird's unique sound.īluebird was ahead of their time - but in a rather unusual way. Saguaro (1995-2003) gathers peak performances culled from Bluebird's critically-acclaimed 2002 Dim Mak-issued album Hot Blood (mixed by Joe Baressi, with guest appearance by MC5's Wayne Kramer) and reaches all the way to the quintet's 1997 self titled debut, Bluebird. On August 23rd, Tee Pee Records will issue Saguaro (1995-2003), a deluxe triple CD collection of the very best from celebrated Los Angeles rock band BLUEBIRD.
